I once heard Dr. Dobson talk about a trip he took to the Middle East where he saw altars on which people sacrificed their own children many years ago. He went on to talk about how the same perversion continues today with the rejection of children by our culture for the sake of money and affluence. His comparison is accurate.

I believe the people of the United States of America have more wealth, material possessions and conveniences than any other group in history. We have our food shipped to us from the four corners of the world, and eat better than most kings of history. Innumerable machines make our life easier than kings who had a hundred servants. We can travel around the world in hours at nearly the speed of sound or travel across country on a network of paved roads whose quality was unimaginable just 75 years ago. The medical care in this country is unparalleled in the world; people come from around the globe to benefit from our doctors. The list of our wealth is almost limitless.

The eventual result of this hostility to children and parents, as it spreads, will be a form of social suicide, leading to a world without springtime, regeneration or the idealism of youth. Remaining will be an increasingly aging community stumbling inevitably toward death and decay.

THE US policy of appeasing jihadists in the Horn of Africa is just one example of the recent turn that US policy has taken regarding the war against the global jihad. On every major front, and particularly in its dealings with Israel, Iraq and Iran, the Bush administration is implementing policies that undermine its allies, strengthen its enemies and consequently harm US national security interests. While the administration and the new Democratic Congress argue over troop levels and funding for the US military in Iraq, as former CIA analyst Robert Baer wrote last week in Time magazine, Iran has effectively taken control of Basra, Iraq's port city and oil hub. The Iranian toman rather than the Iraqi dinar is the currency of trade in the city. The Shi'ite holy city of Najaf is also veering toward becoming a protectorate of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

Well the crooks have found a way to rob you of your gift card balance. If you buy Gift Cards from a display rack that has various store cards you may become a victim of theft. Crooks are now jotting down the card numbers in the store and then wait a few days and call to see how much of a balance THEY have on the card. Once they find the card is "activated", and then they go online and start shopping.
